Summit State Bank has generously donated $25,000 to Committee on the Shelterless (COTS) in Petaluma to support their Recuperative Care (RC) Program, a short-term residential initiative designed to help individuals experiencing homelessness heal from illness, injury, or surgery. The program provides a safe, welcoming environment for clients to recover while receiving onsite healthcare coordination and intensive case management.
COTS' RC Program focuses on stabilizing health, promoting self-sufficiency, and advancing clients' housing goals. With a mission to assist those experiencing homelessness, COTS offers a range of services, including case management, medical care, and support for long-term housing and employment. Their work is rooted in an understanding of homelessness and guided by an evidence-based approach that emphasizes dignity, care, and inclusivity. Camille Kazarian, Summit State Bank’s EVP & CFO, serves on the board of directors for COTS and is grateful for the opportunity to support their mission and give back to the community.
Summit State Bank is a community-focused financial institution and has a long history of giving back to the local community. Through their Nonprofit Partner Program, the Bank has contributed over $5.8 million to local organizations since 2009. In addition, Marbin Morales, Montgomery Village Branch Manager & AVP, recently gave a presentation on financial literacy in Spanish for the residents of COTS. It’s through these actions that the Bank continues to exemplify its mission of delivering exceptional service and solutions, while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need in Sonoma County.
