Honoring Community

Summit State Bank believes that supporting local nonprofits is one of the best ways to give back to our community. The Honoring Community program is designed to give nonprofits a platform to showcase their efforts and boost their presence in Sonoma County. We select nonprofit partners who have a longstanding relationship with us and are closely aligned to our mission. Through this program we highlight the amazing work these organizations are doing by creating videos, taking professional photos, and developing advertisements to promote their services.

Advocacy. Education. Opportunity.
The Community Child Care Council (4Cs) provides access to quality child care and early education in Sonoma County through advocacy, direct service and empowerment. The 4Cs has been working since 1972 to ensure every child in Sonoma County has the care and early education they need.
Love of the Land
LandPaths is an environmental education and conservation leader with the mission to foster a love of the land in Sonoma County. They believe everyone should have access to the awe and inspiration of nature. They engage thousands of participants like you in joyful, caring, and transformative relationship with the land. They do this mainly through creative outings, environmental education, nature camps, and people-powered land stewardship of local open spaces.
Healing with food + love
In the past year, Food For Thought extended its support by offering nourishing nutrition and empathy to over 5,000 individuals residing in Sonoma County who are grappling with severe medical conditions. We furnish in excess of 335,000 complimentary meals annually to eligible recipients who face the threat of malnutrition. Our programs address food insecurity, diminish the necessity for hospital visits and healthcare costs, and enhance the overall health and well-being of our beneficiaries.
A Safe Haven for Animals
Serving since 1931, the Humane Society of Sonoma County, supported by donors, offers a safe haven for animals. Our mission is to unite people and companion animals in lifelong love. Their animals receive medical care, training, and adoption support, including spay/neuter surgery. No effort is spared when a life is at stake. With your assistance, they bring hope to every adoptable animal.

And Duskies Estes
Farm to Pantry had its origins in a stroll through a Healdsburg neighborhood. Our founder, Melita Love, observed numerous fruit trees in her neighbors' yards, their once-beautiful produce decaying on the ground below. Witnessing this waste while recognizing the significant issue of food insecurity, affecting 1 in 4 people in Sonoma County, she took action.
